The Desert (Established at 4-24-2025) >Session Start The eruption of the world has begun construction, digital artifacts morphs into true shapes. Forming the land in a void that turns white, lush sand of the burning sun and intricate abandoned structures came by sight. Spectral nodes fade away as the sound boomed to the familiar atmostphere... A patch of footprints trails across the yellow hills, leading to a single figure covered in cloth against the sun. They take step on a cool slate of a tent-like shelter, manner of safety away from the scortch. They wallet their pockets and let out a sand-covered plate. The wind blows the bits of i, the hanging excess cloth also flow around the figure. What is it reveal on this plate of whom is this figure? >Rackel Clear as the stainless steel when he first engrave his name into the plate, he put it back on his pocket. The winds gust still went through widdly, he shut his eye and breathe before it blows out... After the luck that leds you breath the cooling air, you are concerned about the lack of your hydration. In times like these, your clothes that wrapes around you kept it from the heat. Not much of people that is from the horizion, it's purely vast emptiness of a dying world. What would you do? >Rackel: Look on the floor This is where you feel the cold touch when you came into this shelter at the moment, a convenient structure have already put shelter above your head against the heat. It is still not safe however as of your current condition, you might have to leave again if you want to live. >Rackel: Go out somewhere, whatever direction that is. Nothing as of though on where you were going, a kind of lone wanderer's rule of thumb that is. You ventured and felt the harshing sand drafted your feet, you still resist however as to kept going further. You do not know how long that takes you, not even a watch you have it really, just you and the sun alone. Something's at the horizon, another shelter, it seems to take forever and assume it takes shorter than it was. By the looks of it, it's uniquely built but rather smaller than the previous shelter you've taken, if not but a first thing in your mind is survival that is. You are coming closer towards the building, its metallish surface shines against you by the sun's light. >Rackel: Knock on that building's wall As you're now close to the building that you can touch it, you lead out your tool of metal. Assuming it's been at the sun for a long while, you do not want to harm yourself by the sun's wrath. Perhaps, knocking this building with your tool of choice already pins your small curiosity. [Roll 1: "Something happened, but...", Roll 2: "Doesn't seem to make any sounds...", Roll 3: "But the building does exposes some kind of opening around the building."] Nothing seemed to happened but the reverbance of your knocking, surely there's at least a way to get inside. You don't want to stand here any longer, so opt to walk around the building. As you might guessed, there's a doorway, but lacks any actual doors or windows in front. Seemed to be hydralic-based technology, you could go inside there. >Rackel: Enter Upon entering into door, there lies a ladder by the wall and some junk around. The room is unusually cool, combating the heat outside, strong enough that feels like you drop into a lake. This is unexpected, you knew not all shelters really needs cooling but rather by the nature's wind or limited cooling devices that can't combat some of the heat. You're unsure about what's comes from the ladder, but you expect your priority of your survival. Perhaps you should stay in this shelter for a while, whatever cost that was, nothing but you. >Rackel: Look at those junk. They aren't seem useful at sight, normally scavengers knows how to see through them, perhaps by values... [Roll: Rackel is a novice scavenger] It's hard for you to sift through the rusted metals and carbon materials, you really can't see much value behind those rusts. Not in the feeling of doing this sort of action, you are hazed up by the sun long enough and are not in a right headspace. It's just junk afterall... >Rackel: Grab one of the junk No, why would you do that? You are literally thirsty and hungry, it's just a waste of energy. This is the desert here, and there's no fun, you can't do funny business with just tin cans. [Roll: Something happened] >==> Something crashed beside you, the doorway's gone. You can't go out now, what luck was that? >Rackel: Just grab something already Fine... You grab a weirdly shaped rusted object and stuff it onto your pocket. [You obtained 1x Junk?] >Rackel: Climb down the ladder As you climbed down, the room reveals itself on basement level. The walls were grey and the floor is too, it's seems bleak here... >==> With your feet on the floor, you get to observe the room entirely. It a little more expanded than than the other room you came in, there seems to be containers attached by the wall. You've seen them being attached that is supported by bars from floor to ceiling, in here they're fairly dusted rather than being tainted in yellow shells. There are other objects lying around here, you don't take time to observed them other than one thing. Rectangular and large, it seems to be some sort of mechanical object that emits light, forming a visible image that no other lights can replicate. There are two other objects, connected to that big rectangle object. That's all there is to see, it is also slightly more colder than usual, along with it being dimmer. >Rackel: Open the containers [Roll 1: “There are three containers, but...”, Roll 2: “One of them is locked.”, Roll 3: “The one Rackel opens contains food.” ] Upon opening the first container, you witness a stash of consumables which means food. Out of desperation and beyond your control, you hastily open them and gobble them up. You ate four consumables before you feel satiated, only five of them are still in the container. >==> Opening the second container... [Roll 1: “There aren’t any strange tools though, but...” Roll 2: “There lies a Flashlight and Bag”] There’s more junk, looking closer you find something useful. You find [1x Shiner (Flashlight)] and [1x Attaching Carrier (Bag)], now that’s useful. Although you found this Attaching Carrier (Trivial Roll: He uses these before) familiar, it hangs to your shoulder without problems. You put your Shiner at the other cloth pocket for your convenience. >==> You try to lodge out the third container, but no luck. (Quick roll later) It’s locked and loose, you are sure someone in the past might’ve done so. Can’t do anything about it, so you leave it alone. >Rackel: Check the computer You mean this shining rectangle thing? It still looks weird, yet it adjust your eyes. You might as well take a closer look. >==> Seems to look like there’s clouds in this thing, but it’s not really moving or anything. [Roll: “There are lots of programs in there”] Many strange symbols and objects are littered on this rectangle lighting along, you wonder if this is the works of Those Before The World’s End. A rather complex kind of... tool that fools you? You aren’t sure what to do next here... >Rackel: Use a mouse What mouse? Why would you use an animal on this tool? >Rackel: Move this weirdly-shaped object that fits your hand. [Action pending...]
